Dog Breeding Question

I have a 1 year old lab that isn't neutered and a female pug that happens to be in heat. The lab has been going crazy over the past few days and will do nearly anything to get to her. My question is it possible for the pug to get pregnant? I don't know anything about dog breeding or how cross breeding works. I've never heard of a pug-lab mix before but want to know how careful I should be keeping them apart.

Our lab tries to mount the mini dachshund. My theory is that if he figures out how to make it work, he should get the prize.

I have an american bulldog and boston terrier mix. Of course the mother was the american bulldog.

American Bulldog for size reference.

Unless you want a dead dog, keep them separated - Those puppies would kill the pug.
