yea it was taken with the 105mm f/2.8 Macro, that should almost be 1:1
105 becomes about 150 on the D70, the working distance for 1:1 is 12 inches to the focal plane which is like 6-8in from the end of the lens to the subject

and obviously your viewing the EXIF, what are you useing for that?

My friend took that pic on his SD110. The view was absolutely amazing, that pic doesn?t do it justice.


Awesome pics btw. The panoramic view is very nice.

I think 70-200mm VR is the dream of every Nikonians. My wife will sell all my stuff if I get that.
Right now, Sigma 70-300mm APO II should do. If you see my pbase site, you'll see that this lens is not bad at all. Check out the ostrich picture.

yea i know its a good lens I actually have the 70-300 ED nikkor, works for me and what i currently need a long tele for

whats with all the bug DoF pics? the fly one was pretty awesome though
