Doesn't it suck that you can't be the best at anything?

I mean honestly... Most people will never be the best or even worst of anything. There's always someone taller, bigger, smarter, more talented, more reasonable, etc... This sucks.

Competition is what keeps it interesting though, I'm ok with it.

Sucks for you. I'm the best at many things though.

Once you get into enough details you'll find that you actually are usually the best at some things....

I can deal with being a jack of all trades, master of none.

I'm sure it's possible to be the best at something. It's just a matter of deciding if it's worth putting in a lot of effort just so that you can be called "the best."

Even then... Your chances of becoming the best aren't too good. Look at that gymnast chick from the 04 olympics. She was good... not the best... now she is retired because she injured herself.

I've always enjoyed this approach to life.
Problem is, it's hell trying to make a start of a career with this route already firmly in place. I'm specifically qualified (certification/official education) for very little, but can do just about whatever task that I'd need to accomplish.

So I guess the trick is to find something easy, and something that nobody else is interested in. :D
