Does your university look like it's in the middle of China?

White people outnumber blacks and latinos like 10 to 1. The asians outnumber the whites like 20 to 1.

Polytechnic University of Brooklyn here (mostly technical school) so more than half of the school was comprised of Asian, Indian and Russian immigrants.

White people are the vast majority here, although there are a significant number of Chinese students.

I went to a SUNY school and it was like that, yes. Intelligence is encouraged and rewarded in Asian cultures, while stupidity is in ours. Just look at our highest ranking government official.

they just tend to congregate together in small areas more often than whites do.

University of Manitoba (Canada)

Most of the students seem like they are in the intensive english classes, so they almost always speak in their native language when not in class.

It's kind of overwhelming. Not bad, just wierd seeing so many asians and so few others.

It's funny when you see a racial demographic map of people ages like 18-30. All the Big 10 and west coast research schools have huge areas of green (Asians) from all the Indians and Far Easterners.

LOL that's good.

And yes, it's the same way at my university (University of Waterloo). I wouldn't say asians out number whites, but the last time i was here (5 years ago), i was amazed at how many asians there were... and now that i'm back, there's even more.

I always thought it was the University of Caucasians Living with Asians.

Yep Everman is correct. As an Asian, I was surprised at the Caucasian/white/whatever population at UCLA.

Other UC's are known as:
UCI - University of Chinese Immigrants
UCR - University of Chinese Rejects (easiest UC to get into)

Coming from a asian american family, you're pretty much considered a failure if you don't graduate from a university.

I went to the University of Maryland Baltimore County. I have heard it called:
yoU Must Be Chinese

I think they get free tuition or something for being from so far away.
