Does your son call you father?

Every e-mail my spm writes, or when he calls - he doens't use my name, just "Father"

That just seems odd to me...anyone think so too?

I used to call my dad "daddy" and then when I transitioned to "dad", he got all pissed off and said that, "if I call him dad instead of daddy that I didn't love him". What a crock a sh!t that was, took a while but he finally got used to dad. I mean c'mon you can't actually expect a 14 year old to call his dad "daddy", especially in public :roll:

Mine calls me Dad or Daddy...he's only 3 though.

Edit-And I call my Dad, Dad and my Mom, Mom and they call me by my first name. :laugh:

No, but my daughter calls me "Mother" sometimes. She's weird. Usually it's Mama or Mom.
