Does your significant other bite his or her nails?

if so, do you think its gross? are the nails below the skin line?

i bite my nails, but it isnt gross as some peoples nails are. in fact, you cant even tell i bite my nails. my nails are not long, but not short either.

reason im posting this, i was just watching dismissed on mtv, and i saw this girls nails and they were pretty short, and gross looking.

Wow that's really stupid.

Sorry....I'm sure your girlfriend is great and all...but that is really dumb...I'm sure we all have dumb habits though...

Yes, it is dumb. I think what she's doing, though, is trying to eliminate any rogue skin sticking out of her nails. I tell her to have a nailclipper in her purse, but she doesn't. She bites the rogue skin and pulls it out, often causing a small wound that bleeds.
