Does your pet enjoy getting drunk or high?

My dog loves beer and laps it up in no time! I don't care about animal abuse or shit, but I'm not going to stop giving my dog a few gulps of the golden nectar.

At one time, people who transported parrots out of Mexico illegally, got them mildy drunk, which tended to quiet them down for the border crossing.

Years ago when I had a parrot, and also tamed and sold locally captured wild ones, it was important to trim the flight feathers and talons to increase their value.

Parrots really dislike having their claws clipped. One standard solution was to wrap the parrot up in a towel with one leg at a time sticking out. That could undo much of the trust that the taming process had achieved, at the early stages.

A 6" by 2' piece of PVC was bought, with caps for both ends. One cap got drilled with maybe 6, 1/4" holes. The other got a single 'inlet' hole.

A stoned parrot is a very congenial parrot.

My parrot was a pretty good talker, regardless, but when under the influence he would string together just about every word and phrase he knew into one long and seemingly endless monologue.

At that time in my life, along with some friends, it was always a damn entertaining event. Most would say that that green buzzard enjoyed a good buzz.

i dont think my dog has tasted the nectar of the gods yet. actually, i did spill a mixed drink on his crate once. he was licking that spot for weeks... but i dont think he got drunk.

My dog loves beer. Her favorite is Guinness followed closely by Sam Adams Winter Lager. She goes nuts for the Guinness. Cutetess thing too, after every drink she takes she sneezes lol

My cat loves german beer, particularily Bitburger and Kosticher. His name is Beercat.

Sadly, my wife won't let me feed him enough beer to get him drunk since she's convinced it's lethal. It makes it that much more difficult to cut him off when every time I have a beer around he'll just stare at me until I let him lick the bottle. In fact if I'm not careful he'll just start licking away before I've finished the beer and I, admittedly, am not a fan of cat cooties in my beer.

When he's old and ready to die, perhaps I'll let him drink himself to death.

I had a friend back in HS that would light a joint in her bathroom and put her dog inside with her. Apparently it made the dog shit all over the place so she did it with her cat instead.

Worse idea.

Is this thread a joke?

I was thinking the same thing. There is no way in hell I would ever let my dog drink alcohol or try to get him high from pot. Never!!
