is small coffee in mcdonalds priced the same as value coffee in your area and any other place?

i just went to a mcdonalds i dont really go to. i ordered 2 mcdouble and a small coffee. it came up 4 dollar something! i was like hmmm strange price for three 99 cents to 1 dollar items then to the paying window saw a nice looking 22 - 23 year old young women. i just smile and did not ask whats up with the price.

got food. drive out. home. look at receipt and the small coffee was charged 1.69! whattttt? no wonder it cost so much! usually i order at the mcdonalds that i usually go to.... i always say small coffee and they gave me the value coffee right away! it usually cost 3 dollar something for the same order at the mcodnalds i usually go to.

value and small is basically the same! i dont see no size differences! seems like a fishing scheme to let customers order the small and get charge bigger price! when the size is the same! (my usually mcdonalds always gave me value price when i ordered small coffee)

so anyway hows your mcdonalds? do they charge you more for a small coffee vs value?

i ordered at noon. is this why it cost alot? still at the mcdonalds i usually go i order at all time including 5 at night or even 7 at night and still they charge the same price as the value coffee.

i just went to the same mcdonalds again at 10: 40am to say "value coffee" this time. and the same nice looking girl there. she says "sorry we dont serve value coffee, no longer serve starting 10. wtf???? at my usual mcdonalds serve value coffee all day! and only till 10???? whattt? come on! atleast 11! most fast food serve breakfast till 11! if their value coffee falls under breakfast. i just got the burgers and no coffee.

after i go to her window she seems to remember me and acts apologetic. telling me she will ask her manager about this issue something like that. i know its not her fault.

douche mcdonalds?
- 1.70 for a small coffee actually 1.69
- value coffee dont serve starting 10am up

i heard many normal people own a high profile chain restaurant and this is probly one.

as for the girl.... i dont really have skill nor game.

McDonalds 'specials'/value/dollar menu/etc are completely varied throughout the franchise. You can't even be sure that they're offering the same deal across town, much less in a different city/state.

This is how it's always been. Not a lot of people know about it because they mostly go to the same ones every time.

The safest way is always to actually look at the menu and what it says there, instead of assuming that you're going to get the same deal that you're used to having in a different branch.

I think some fast food places will automatically use the "value" menu item when you say small, some will ask, and some will use the official small size which is more than the value menu one.

To be safe, if you want something from the value menu, don't say "small" - say "value coffee" or "99 cent coffee" (or whatever the price is).

Its something you eat, but not really food.

Food gives you nutrients that your body needs. This crap has very little of it.

Heck wasn't there a place that let the McDs burger sit for a year and even bacteria wouldn't grow on it and it looked exactly the same as the day it was made.

Think about it for a second. If bacteria won't grow on it or eat it, it's probably not a good idea to eat it yourself.

Their coffee is disgusting...

The one I frequent has $1 coffee any size all day.

And McDonald's coffee is good for the price. I think I may have said that a hundred times on the forums, but it's true.

McDonald's all seem so inconsistent these days, so I'm not too surprised they're inconsistent about honoring their specials.

I remember going there one time and all the Value Meal numbers had been changed. (Next time, they had changed them back.)

Don't even get me started on that "Late Night Menu" bullsh--! (I want my #2, or no $3.99 for you.)

Don't complain about the price of the coffee when conversing with the hottie. Chicks don't care for cheapskates like you

$1 any size coffee where I'm at too.

If I run out of coffee I'll get one there. Beats the crap out of trendy places like Starbucks in both taste and price.
