Mine has lost its ability to stay raised... So I raise it up, and after 30 minutes of sitting I'll be back to the floor again...
And it squeeks.

I borrowed a plastic lawn chair, after the cheap dining room chair(also borowed) fell apart. One piece, so no squeeking. :)

Yup, like a b@stard. This chair > WD40. I've lost count of the number of times that I've sprayed it.

3 months? mine has been fine for almost a year now. the ass padding is thinning and squeaks a little while i tilt, and the leather starts to wrinkle a bit

but otherwise, great chair for $40 shipped along with a bunch of FAR's and a coupon. will get a new one when this one goes

oh btw doesn't these chairs have like 20 year warranty? anyone tried that?

No. I'd get a new one if it did. I'm anal about squeaks and noises. In my car, nothing can rattle around.

I can't have anything rattling around in my car. My chairs, though, I don't mind so much. Every office chair that I use, be it at home or work, squeaks like hell. I think that I'll be going to get a new one before long though, because my office chair at home is getting VERY noisy and I can't seem to quiet it.

Hrmmm now that I think about it my office chair down at OSU doesn't squeak, I may have to go see what kind of chair it is...
