OMG this thread is hilarious!! I actually use it on both an LCD and CRT and it makes my eyes less watery from trying to focus on the small text. Emotionally it leaves me all gooey inside and wanting more and more and more...

I like Clear-type (and I'm a writer who stares at the screen all day.) Why do people hate it so much?
