Does Winxp Home have any advantages over Xp Pro?

Just curious as in maybe smaller footprint etc

It supports more than one processor or core, it has a few extra features, cant name them off hand but theyre nothing groundbreaking. Also it says PRO!!! up the side of the start menu rather than HOME.

No. Pro is a superset of home. Home has no advantages whatsoever except the cheaper price.

The only reason i use Pro is remote desktop, surf the web without web blocker at work 🙂

I'm pretty certain that NTFS is the default file system for both Home and Pro flavors of XP.

Also Pro does have fast user switching, however other than those points that is a very nice article.
