Does win2k like laptops?

I realized that most of the work one does on a laptop is browing the web, using word, and whatever else. Seems perfect under a win2k enviornment where no games are played. So, does win2k like laptops?

As long as you have a 400MHz+ CPU and 128MB RAM with 6G+ hard disk

Win2000 is for you regardless of Desktop/Notebook

I have a 700mhz PIII HP laptop at work and it "loves" win2000, nothing wrong, loads of power settings and everything.

Just feel the need to point out that games are just as good under Win2K as they are under 9x, provided you have a decent vid card with a decent manufacturer who provides decent drivers.

Yes, infact microsoft pushes it for corp. laptops now since it has better security (then 9x) and includes native power managment that nt4 did not

My Compaq Armada 1700 w/p2-300 and 96mb RAM loves Win2k Pro.

Out of all the machines I upgraded to Win2k the laptop benefited the most
