Will XP get me stuck in 60Hz in Quake3 (well all OpenGL games I think), like Win2k does? It's very annoying...the only way to fix it is to user powerstrip and that mucks up my brightness...
Hmmm so I'm wondering if Win XP Pro will fix this....I've been comparing Win2k Pro vs Win XP Pro (Probably no XP Personal, I plan to make a Dual CPU box later this year, so XP Personal is probably out)...anyways the more I read about XP the more I'm leaning that way...I personally dislike the new UI (I don't like the whole skinning thing just a resource hog IMO) but as far as I can tell you can turn the whole skinning BS right off...so it shouldn't matter...
My last annoyance with Win2k is this problem I get getting stuck in 60Hz in OpenGL games...will XP Pro have this problem?
