I can vouch for this; but I exchanged all my cheapie games for new releases. It was Christmas in July, I think I got $500 worth of games for $100.

It really isn't smart to talk on a public forum about how you've defrauded Wal-Mart for $400.

Just call customer service and get the name of who you talk to. Tel them you were given 3 PS2 games as a gift and you want to exchange them for GC titles because you don't have a PS2. If the person says no and you can't get them to change their mind, just hang up and call back and try to get a different person. Once you get one to say yes, ask their name and tell them you'l be right there....

And if that doesn't work, try calling a different store and repeat the process.

Don't waste your time with customer service. Speak with management when you call the store. Don't talk to the electronics department manager, won't get you anywhere. Go Assistent, CO or store.

An alternative is if you can stand to wait 16 days, take them to ANY store that sells the games the day after Christmas and exchange them. There will be NO problem that day and the next couple of days. How many people open Christmas presents and find a receipt there, too?

Yeah they do.

Anyway our Walmart will take back items without a receipt, but they don't give you a refund. They give you a gift card to use later.

I believe you, but how in the world would they know how much to give you for an item that they don't even sell?

BTW, the customer that complains the loudest is always right @ Wally World. All the ones I've been to allow 3 returns/year without a reciept.
