I'm showing 1971MB of 4094MB used currently in Vista64 (home premium). I'm currently running... Firefox... that's it. Of course, I do have things running in the background (steam, ATI CCC, logitech setpoint, symantec, etc...). If I was going to game, I wouldn't be killing these processes... and I barely have 2GB free right now.

Readyboost would have been a far more significant feature had Vista not had a completely viable 64bit version, which coupled with cheaper memory prices means that you should have well beyond what you'd need at this point.
