Always remember:

This applies to others, too.

There are things that I've done at some point but I know I never will again in this life. Being on Facebook is one of them

Happy birthday! And FFS, who cares about Facebook? People are making way too huge of a deal out of nothing. Just live your life. Sometimes I post stuff, sometimes I get a lot of replies, sometimes I don't and I notice that others get more replies on their stuff too. Doesn't bother me the slightest bit. I scroll through my wall once in a while and sometimes there is funny or interesting stuff, sometimes not. It's just a thing to do to keep people updated on your life who wouldn't otherwise be in touch, or to catch up with others who are far away, etc.

If you're getting depressed using Facebook you probably have larger issues that need to be addressed. Get off Facebook and go outside, probably will help a lot. Facebook should not be having such a dramatic impact on you.

I had my birthday the other day and got one happy b-day wish. An ex-coworker who I worked with in South Korea had his bday yesterday and got 70 happy bday wishes.

I post something on Facebook and 2 people respond. A friend I know posts a stupid selfie and gets 80 responses. She's not that hot. It's just that she knows a lot of people.

I guess viewing wedding pics, vacation photos and family pics on Facebook can actually cause depression. Especially when you have nothing going on in your life.

I have things going on in my life.

Facebook is like high school forever. You're obviously not one of the popular kids.
