Does USB 2.0 make a difference in transfer rate with a Bluetooth Dongle?

remember too that if you have something plugged into the next socket with usb 2 it will slow down to usb 1.1 settings.

Well if you have X | X and you plug something into the first one the second one would be slowed to the USB 1.1 speed. Kinda like a USB 2 hub if you blug something in that's usb 1 the whole hub will wokr at usb 1 speed assuming the usb1 device is working.

That's a bit of a flaw in USB 2.0. I understand the concept, but logically, it doesn't make sense why that would be the case.

Huh? Since when? I've got a USB 1.1 Logitch MX Duo and a USB 1.1 HP printer/scanner/fax combo plugged into my computer and when I stick my USB 2.0 card reader, iPod Shuffle, or flash drive into the ports next to those 1.1 devices, I don't notice any drop in speed. Each device has its own point to point connection to the USB bus and doesn't really care what speed the other devices are running.

The only thing that would cause the behavior you are talking about is if you plugged a 1.1 hub into into a port and tried to connect a 2.0 device into the hub.

That makes more sense to me. Must be one of those urban legends.
