Does UPS come by more than once a day?

I won an eBay auction and paid the guy for 3 day shipping. I was expecting it tomorrow, but it got here today. I got a notice saying they tried to give me the package at 2, but I was in class. Is there any way they're gonna try to deliver again? Or is there any way I can call them to have them redeliver today? 3 day select is pretty expensive. 🙁

I don't really need the package today, but it'd be nice to get it.

UPS options

you can track down the truck if you live in a small area and just pull ove rnext to him and pick it up, or call the local UPS distribution center give them yoru address and you can find out which truck it is and where he is and they usually all have mandatory pickups at 5 PM from businesses just meet him there to pick it up(thast what I usually do)


and if you have multiple shipments coming in on one day then YES you may have 2 seperate visits from 2 seperate drivers on the same day


only way you can get the same driver to come back to you twice in the same day is if you call your local distribution office for your area and they call the driver and REQUEST him to go back if its possible, sometimes you get lucky and they can other times its a no go.

I guess I'm just gonna call them and see. It's only 3pm here and from experience, they deliver until 5pm so it could be possible that he (or she?) comes back.

If you call them they will tell you what time you can pick it up from the hub. Usually around 6:30 or whenever the trucks get back.

Not much of a bus route here either.

They should have left a notice that they tried to make a delivery and state when they'll try to make the next delivery, in my experience with UPS.

Yeah it says tomorrow, but I thought there might have been an exception since I paid $30 to have it shipped 3 day select.

Depends if your UPS man is lazy or not. Mine normally comes in the early morning, and if he can't delivery it then, he'll try again later in the day. Only once has he only tried once a day.
