Does UPS allow weekend package pickups?

Does anyone know if UPS allows you to go to their warehouse/offices on Saturday to pickup items that you weren't available on Friday to sign for? 🙂
 
I wish some delivery company would cater their services to residents instead of business. Like with weekend pickup service. A lot of us work and cannot be at home to pick up a package and it's frustrating seeing the little note saying they weren't able to drop off a package because there was no one home.

Sometimes the packages require a signature and you can't have leave just leave the package on the steps. So, you want to be able to pick it up during the weekends ---- but nooooooo, we can't do that so we have to wait until the weekday and then drive off to a pickup location to pick it up. It's so frustrating because the eagerly awaited package is here but we can't have it!!! Arrghhhh!
 
Don't think they do. I know they pick up packages at authorized ship centers (like Staples and Office Depot) on Saturdays...don't think you can pick them up though.
 
Storm - b/c that costs money. If you know you're not going to be at home, why don't you have it dropped off at a friend's house or where you work?
