I want a state of the art 3D card with full TIVO etc, digital VCR capability AND output for 2 monitors. Geforce 3 variant or Radeon 8xxx variant. Any products out there or soon to be released?

<< The Radeon 8500DV will not have dual head capabilities. >>

So true. However, I think the image on the TV can be different, although I always hear conflicting opinions about that.

My opinion, if money is not an issue, Radeon 8500 as a gaming/dualhead card, and a WinTV-PVR, which can hardware encode MPEG-2.

But one card, sorry.

So I'm gonna have to get an 8500DV and a PCI card for the second monitor it seems. I suppose I can live with that.

The ELSA Synergy III is the best card out there so far, that isn't custom made.

Avoid the Personal Cinema line it's absolutely pluaged with poor image quality, bad drivers, and half the features don't even seem to work properly as yet. And any documentation is basically non-existent.

You'd be better off with nearly anything then the Personal Cinema!

What software support? Those are both ATi products?

Yup, those are both ATi products, so one would assume they would play nice together.
