Hello all, I need your help. I want to dual boot xp mce with vista home premium. I have a seagate 80 gig hdd with one partition with xp and all of my apps installed using about 32 gigs. I have tried using gparted and I can't get it to shrink this partition, in fact I can't even get to the gui of parted (Ihave tried the parted site for help but no luck). Anyway I have a 200 gig drive I can install. I was wondering if I could copy the 32 gigs of stuff to the 200 giger. Reformat the 80 with 2 partitions, move the xp partiton back (from the 200 gig) after reformatting, and install vista on the 2nd partition while leaving the 200 gig drive for storage .Of course I want to do all this without spending any cash. Is this total lunacy or what? Is there an easier way? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Tim
