I ordered it today, and got slack for ordering a so called girly drink. I don't it was girly. What does ATOT think. From what I remember it had:

Triple Sec
Tequila
Frozen Mango Puree
Lime Juice
Lime
Ice

I think you should order what you like. If someone is ripping on your for ordering a certain drink it sounds like they have their own problems.

While guys are drinking shitty beer trying to pretend their drink choices define their masculinity, I've got a glass with an umbrella in one hand and the other hand up their GF's skirt.

Fuck what other people think. Drink what you like. Anyone who rips on you for drinking something that tastes good is a tool.

SO....margharita. well, margarita is technically "girly" any way you look at it. Thing is, there really are no rules for that in this day and age. a margarita is a margarita. shove whatever you want into it and toss it down the gullet.


However, if it were a martini, (any sort of "martini" other than: Gin + Vermouth + Olive)....then yes, you should castrate yourself on the spot. there is no such thing as an "Appletini," or whatever the Chads and Trixis in your neighborhood want to call it.


Here's a task for you: whenever you witness a dude in a bar ordering an "Appletini" (or any sort of non-martini), punch him in the gut as quickly, and violently as you can.

i would rather have a margarita over a martini most days while sitting in my lawn chair soaking up some sun. :)

Order and drink what you want, but it is a girly drink, make no mistake about it. Not that theres anything wrong with that, I've been know to indulge occasionally in pinkish drinks. :)

I've made mango martinis and margaritas whenever we host dinner parties, and I enjoy them. I'm still far preferential to wine, but I couldn't care less whether they're "girly" or not.
