I've been toying with the idea of assembling a large collection of images in a video presentation, using some music I particularly like...
Is there a software package which gives you a good balance of automation and customization? Something which would not focus on a fix duration for each photo/slide, but do it more naturally, by following the music I chose for the soundtrack instead, like a Winamp music-responsive visualisation. Some advanced effects like panning or zooming would be welcome
