Hello,

Building a new system and have been reading a lot of reviews and from what I can see this is what I am going with:

MOBO - MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum - 939 (I have read good and bad reviews on this board)
CPU - AMD FX53 -939
RAM - OCZ Performance Series Dual Channel Kit 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3500
HD - 2x WD 74GB Raptors & 2x 316604 Western Digital Caviar SE WD2000JD 200GB Serial ATA 7200RPM
CASE - Coolermaster TAC-T01-E1 Wavemaster
PSU - Antec NeoPower 480W -MODULAR
SOUND - Turtle Beach Santa Cruz THX certified surround //* already in current sys *
GPU - ATI AIW 9800pro //* already in current sys *

Anything I am missing besides the little stuff like floppy and keyboard and mouse? Do the items above sound like a good fit?

Thanks

What about CD/DVD burner(s)? Plextor are nice (712a) and I heard Lite On has a dual layer burner that is great.

I hope you enjoy putting together your system.

Hey Mauiblue,

You are right. I currently have a Light On 40x12x48 CD Burner and a Pioneer DVD +-R recorder in my existing system that I will move over to the new one, then after the multi layer ones get sorted out by the end of the year I will replace the Pioneer with one of those. :)
