Does this seem to be a fair quote for the work being done?

The wife and I are looking to revamp our bathrooms en casa. Below is the quote I received from a company in the area -- at a glance I believe it to be fair, but figured additional/more experienced opinions could be beneficial to making a decision 🙂

We're looking to have granite counter tops installed in both bathrooms -- 2 vanities in the master, 1 longer vanity in the guest bath. Prices included materials, labor/installation, disposal, etc. Sinks, hardware, backsplash included as well. Total price comes out to $1,594. We're opting for a cheaper granite, which fortunately is already used in other areas of the house.

Thoughts?
 
Any idea the quality of the other parts (sinks, faucets) besides the granite? There's a wide range. I don't think I'd be offended unless they're using the cheapest $$ can buy.
 
it was about 800 installed for one 11 foot long 18 in deep piece with no sinks or anything here. so 3 pieces, hardware and install for 1500 sounds pretty good.
 
Really cheap IMO. We just redid the guest bathroom with one vanity sink and fixtures and it was well above that price by a multiple of 2. Granted we used a real nice granite and had a custom cabinet made.
 
Prices for granite vary considerably across the nation. It primarily has to do with most of the raw slabs coming into the port in Miami. In other words, it's going to be nearly impossible to get opinions on this subject with members spread out all over the country.

$35/ft for the kitchen. Had to drive to Elberton GA.

The Elberton Granite deposit is a mass of granite approximately 35 miles long, six miles wide and most likely two to three miles deep. The total amount of granite in the Elberton area is approximately six million million tons. That is enough granite to fill the Rose Bowl nearly two million times.
 
I've asked him to supply some additional information, specifically brands of the fixtures/sinks.

Very fair as long as they are using quality components rather that the cheapest thing on the shelf at Lowes or Home Depot.
 
The faucets they offer are shit -- probably just purchase some of our choosing for them to be installed. Sinks are under-mount porcelain, rectangle or rounded.

I'll keep everyone posted as we progress -- hoping the price and work are not too good to be true.
 
The sinks vary in quality too. And if you get some weird shape, you might not be able to find a replacement down the line if you need to.
