NOT yagt....

quick synopsis....a few months ago I was friends with this girl at work, we would hang out after work sometimes, and got along well. After we had hung out a couple times I noticed she cooled off towards me substantially...to the point of almost hostility. Several days ago I saw her outside of work again, and we got to talking about our boss at work. We both revile him. I also asked why she stopped talking to me earlier in the Summer. She tells me that our boss Paul had told her I said a bunch of ****** about her, like nasty nasty nasty things. Not work related either. I'm absolutely livid. I have 6 pages of logged incidents with this guy. If any member of the ATOT bar would peruse them I'd appreciate it...but for now, can someone tell me if this particular incident is harassment? Just in case it's not obvious, I did NOT say anything nasty about her

you seem to be a drama magnet, or do you bring it upon yourself?

If it was effecting your job like on a review or a write-up then you would begin to have a case.

But honestly good lawyers will look at this senario and not bother with it.

to answer the previous questions: Yes. I attract drama. Like stink to a hobo.

also: girl in question is owner's daughter. I'm thinking of going to him tomorrow and talking to him about this guy.

I see bad things happening.

The owner will think you're trying to get in his daughters pants. Take it from there.
Prepare to get 0wn3d.

he knows I'm friends with his daughter. He actually asked me to show her around the area when she started there. He's a nice guy

So what kinda stuff did he say about you?

There's no excuse for that though. Confront him.

I'm talking to the owner of the company tomorrow. I've worked in plenty of unproffesional places before, and with absolutely miserable people, but this guy takes the cake.

It doesn't matter what advice you garner from this thread - you do't have the balls to do what needs to be done anyway.

You are a whiny bitch that is destined to be lonely/alone for the rest of your life.

Please.. for the love of God - stop posting, and go away.

Save it for a real complaint. Owner is a man and won't care what some guy said. In fact he will probably have a worse impression of you if you tell him about it.

No, it's just the extra vagina he has that makes him act as he does.

A. Kick his ass

B. Sue him for Slander

c. Just forget about her, any girl that will believe somebody else without asking you means she doesn't have character herself. She should have asked you.

I'd confront your manager... but that's me.

Tell the owner you want to confront the manager concerning his comments to the owners daughter.

Also:

I also have a little HR experience. It is never acceptable under any circumstances for man to say nasty sexual things to a woman in the workplace...even if he is "relating what someone else said".

The fact that he is a manager makes it even worse. If he said those things in any of the places worked, and she complained to HR, he'd have a good chance of being gone that very same day.
