Does this qualify as a first phone interview?

I submitted a resume for a motorola internship and I got a call today while I was at the food court. He asked some questions about myself, what I know about Moto and he talked about the unit he works in. He said he would call me again tomorrow and maybe have an on-campus interview on Monday. Did the call I receive today qualifies as a phone interview or tomorrow's is what really counts?

sounds like it was just a screener to make sure you weren't completely retarded... tomorrow counts more... in general the latest one counts more, unless you have already received strong indication that you've already got the job in the bag

He works in the iDEN division, so he'll probably take it personally
