full version. im not a big fan of office, but since some classes require the format (ugh), i bought the "ultimate steal" since it was cheapish

I have the ultimate steal, as does my bro, my gf, and his gf. Full version, real thing. Love it!

they have a similar thing for students with windows 7 home premium/professional now for $30...but only upgrade versions unfortunately. also, you have to choose either 32 or 64 bit, as both arent included apparently.

It includes the full versions of -
Word 2007
Groove 2007
Excel 2007
Publisher 2007
PowerPoint 2007
Access 2007
Outlook 2007
InfoPath 2007
OneNote 2007

Full version, but the free Office 2010 deal is better.

do you have a link to this free office 2010 deal?

Maybe he's talking about the beta that's supposed to be coming out soon. Office 2010 isn't supposed to come out this year AFAIK.
