"PURCELL, Oklahoma (CNN) -- A 10-year-old Purcell, Oklahoma, girl was the victim of a horrific plan of kidnap, rape, torture and cannibalism, authorities said Saturday."

"Evidence seized from Underwood's apartment included a dismantled bicycle found under a bed, a decorative dagger authorities say was used to try to decapitate the girl, a hacksaw, a meat tenderizer and barbecue skewers,"

"He said the girl was struck on the head with the cutting board "three to four times" and that Underwood suffocated her using duct tape and by placing his hand over her mouth."

(he doesn't seem to care)

Torture him and show public videos of the torturing all over the place. Show what it happens to you if you decide to rape or murder.

Broadcast his crime and then put him in Gen Pop. Send the guards out of the area, and let the rest of the convicts take care of it.

too bad we dont have torture

but we do have guards who hate people like this and have the power to give him to the prision pimp

Life sentence in the worst prison possible. This is only because I can not bring myself to agree with the death penalty.

I cannot bring myself to agree with keeping complete pieces of sh!t in prison for 40,50,80 years to to tune of $30K+ a year in costs. These types need to be exterminated with extreme prejudice as soon as possible.

Mine stems from my faith. But to each their own

You wouldn't need to agree with the death penalty. If I managed to get a life in prison and I found out what that guy did I'd beat the living ****** out of him, what else are they gonna do to me besides give me a medal?

execution is an easy way out.

He sits in a private cell and eats and sleeps all day.

why not keep him in prision.

I wonder if judges have the power to force an inmate to get a tattoo on their arms. Something that is a racial slur so when he goes to prision ... he'll get it.
Of course the media will have a field day with it..

The twisted sickness of people never cease to amaze me...

What should his punishment be?

Several things that aren't allowed by law.

Chances are he'll pleed insanity and win, quite sad.

Well, you're right, he probably does have a mental problem, but why should we have to suffer because of his problems? It's irritating and I can't even see how that can go by as a defense.

Anyone, mentally unstable or not, who brutally and intentionally kills or injures somebody should be sentenced to torture and not allowed to live.

I don't beleive anybody deserves torture as a sentence for anything. It doesn't help anyone, anywhere, at all. I'll go with death.

But it makes people think twice about doing it, doesn't it? Is it not right that the places with the worst consequences have the lowest crime rates? Not necessarily always the converse, but I believe that that statement is true.

I think some crimes deserve torture but actually performing it just brings more horror into the world. I say just put "him" down.

I doubt it. If the death penalty isn't going to disuade someone, then probably no other penalty will, either.

Horror to those thinking about committing a horrible crime, maybe.

Somehow I doubt that a potential murderer will figure "Eh, it's only the mutilation of my genitals, the crushing of my kneecaps, and the gouging of my eyes all filmed live. It's worth it."
