Does this affect my credit?

I use online billpay through us bank to pay my cell phone bill, and it didnt post in time, so my service got disconnected. Does this hurt my credit rating?

How long did you let your bill lapse? Its unlikely a cell phone company would disconnect your service for just one late bill.

Unless they report your account to your report already I don't see how late payments could even be possible. Of course, if you're really late, then they'll likely try to collect, and they will most certainly report that.

Do any cell phone companies report as though it's a revolving account or something? I've never heard of that.

Only with the phone company itself... they have their own internal rating of customers based on payment history etc. But your actual credit report? No, not unless it was sent to a collection agency.

it was due the 10th, then they give you another week but its a couple dollars more. I paid the extra fee knowing it wouldnt get in by the 10th, but it should have been posted a few days ago.

Actually, Tmobile goes right after you after one bill.

Depends on your credit rating & past history.

For anyone with even remotely decent credit you have a lot of leeway. If you abuse it you'll get cut off sooner.

I once had a T-Mobile bill go over a week late before they even sent the SMS to alert me. I was set up for autopay & for whatever reason T-Mobile said my card was declined. CC company had no record of a declined charge, & when I gave the T-Mobile rep the same card to pay it it cleared fine. When it failed a second month in a row I cancelled EZPay & have paid it manually since.

I have Sprint and I've been late on a couple of occasions, but I've never been cut off. 😱
