If you have a wireless controller for the 360, do any of you guys happen to know if you can use your wireless controller as a pc gamepad for oblivion/bioshock ect?

Works for me. Just make sure it's plugged in via the wire and it should be good.

Note: I have plugged mine in and it found drivers and such but I never actually used it to see if it would work in a game. I think it charged it too, but I haven't used it long enough yet to determine that for sure.

Never worked for me. I always had to use it with the wireless receiver.

I have charged my controller a bunch in my PC and whenever I do, it typically says "Xbox360 controller found" in the bottom right corner. However I've never tried to actually use it.

You can check the game controllers thingy in the control panel. If it's listed, it should work. I'd check, but I'm kind of not at my 360 at the moment .

interesting... I'll have to check my PC when I get back and see what works for me.

edit: plugged it in to my family's PC and it's installing. Says "Xbox 360 controller via play and charge kit". So the PC knows it's there and is charging. I'll try to find something that'll work with a gamepad so I know it works fully.

The play and charge kit does not turn the wireless controller into a wire controller. Even when the P&C kit is plugged into your 360, the controller uses wireless to send signals to the xbox. Therefore it will not work on a PC BUT it will charge from any powered USB port. I charge mine on my laptop while playing TF2 on my 360.
