usually only the day after, which usually happens to be either a Sat or a Sun. been "cold turkey" for 8 months here in Kuwait, though. will probably get home in October and get drunk just pulling a bottle/can out of the fridge. :(

No, but then, I've only once gotten drunk and that was by accident. The "punch" I had 2 cups of had Everclear in it. I had no clue about that until the next morning.

I had a bad experience with some warm vodka and warm Snapple on a sweltering summer day. I got sick at just the thought of vodka for the next 2 months afterwards.

Beer rarely gives me a nasty hangover.. There is nothing like a good Guinness on draft, I never feel sickened by it no matter how many pints I downed the night before..

Now liquor on the other hand, especially wiskey, can turn my stomach the next day to the point where I can't even smell it without gagging.

Yep, usually because I'm dehydrated and my brain knows that beer would dehydrate me even more so it makes sure that I don't have any desire for it. The human noggin is smart like that.

That's a negative, though I find it pretty hard to over-indulge in beer. I need something with a higher proof to overindulge.

There have been times that I've been so hungover that watching a TV show or movie where someone is drinking will make me queasy.

mmm got so wasted at the cape we couldn't find our cars. ended up just crashing right on the beach, one helluva time. the next morning, our cars were the only ones left, smack in the middle of a 200 space lot.

would definitely do it again. warm enough that we weren't uncomfortable, but cool enough to need a beach towel and another body ;) .

EDIT: lol and to answer the OP's question-- not since high school. if it was a particularly rough night, the smell of beer can get my stomach turning, but the thought just makes me look forward to the next weekend.

not from beer, but I still have an aversion to vodka after about...14 months, give or take a week or two. NEVER chug half a half gallon (a quart i guess) of 5 o' clock. Its not a good idea, esp. when you weigh 150lbs or so.

yes, i have foolishly chugged off a passaround bottle of vodka like that a couple of years ago. the problem was only myself and one other guy were actually drinking it.
