Does the nforce4 SLI allow the use of two PCIe cards without using sli mode?

The question was asked in the topic, a simple yes/no answer would be appreciated, but an explanation would be a nice bonus .

Also, is there a way to restrict mouse movement to a certain window(warcraft III windowed)?

It depends on the motherboard. Some motherboards automatically disable the second slot if the SLI switch isn't set to SLI, some set it to 4X, some to 1X.
What motherboard do you have?

YES, here, if you got a non Deluxe thats all you could do, some can be fixed with pencil trick and you can possibly find a 3rd party SLI bridge but Nvidia are gonna try stop this.

If you got a Deluxe you could have it both ways.

Yes any Ultra has 2 pci-e slots for running 2 sperate card not joined by sli bridge and 4 monitors.( you may be able to pencil mod to Deluxe and find a SLI bridge)

The Ultra Deluxe can run 2 together with SLI bridge for gamming(2x 8x pci-e)(not sure if still 4 monitors or only 2).
