does the game halo have no textures?

Is it just my driver or what? I have a 9700np and I'm using the latest catlyst drivers. To me the game looks like crap. The walls are gray but w/no textures, same for everything. Is this a known issue? Does halo just suck?

pc version just looks bad, it wasnt improved any over the xbox version...i dont think anyways

THats a video issue, I just played the demo and it looked much better.

ahh. resolved. didn't have textures on maximum quality (in the driver), so it didn't display any. much better now.

The game has wonderful textures, or so I hear. My ATI Radeon 7500m is a DirectX 7 card, and I'm willing to bet what you're seeing is about the same as what I am. The driver upgrade should have fixed it, also make sure that it is not running in "safe mode". Also, in case you hadn't already, make sure texture quality is turned all the way up in the settings.

lol... some people may say it Halo looks bad, but it doesn't look THAT bad. Mind posting a new screenshot of the fixed textures?
