Does the ECS K7S5A motherboard fit in a Enlight 7237 case?

I just noticed after purchasing the motherboard, does it even work in the Enlight case? There is no ethernet hole on the back on the case!!!!

Is there a way i can get one with a ethernet hole, or will it even fit, even tho i probably won't be able to use it?

Yes it will fit, and you replace the i/o shield with the supplied unit.

only got the regular rear plate, just doesn't have the ethernet hole, and i got a rear plate that seems to support real old motherboards. Where do I get the rear plate with the ethernet hole?

Also will it fit without getting a different rear plate, even though it'll be blocked off?

Part #?
Will it be free?

WTF? So you got a I/O plate shipped with your motherboard that doesn't have the Ethernet port? As far as I know, you should have gotten the right one. Give ECS an email and ask them about swapping it out.

I'm interested in building the EXACT setup, so keep us informed!

Good luck!

I installed a K75SA for a customer, and it came with a proper i/o shield.

Are you referring to the plates that came with the m/b or with the case? You should have gotten a new i/o plate with the new motherboard. My k7s5a came with the correct plate, but I still had to pop out the little metallic "chad" thingy covering the ethernet port. NBD though. Rummage through the m/b box some more. If it ain't there, do as 007 suggested and see if ECS will send ya one, or... break out the dremel! ;)

Ohh!!, I just ordered the board yet, and I haven't received it. There's an extra rear plate that comes with the mobo? Odd, I would have assumed I would have to contact the manufacturer of the case.

I would have guessed that it would be up to the case manufacturer as well... but who knows, maybe ECS are seeing that most cases dont fit the board w/o the addl. plate and are tossing it in to minimize the pissed off calls they get.

If it doesn't fit, all you need to do is to trim out a little square above the USB connectors and make your own custom plate.
