I'm adding up all these gifts and it's obscene. I like to buy people nice gifts and all but it's almost fiscal rape. It feels like I'm single handedly supporting the California economy!
 
Its stupid.

What's even worse is when people get offended about differing amounts of money spent on the gifts.
Yes, lets all quantify our love and respect by how much money we spent.
 
I'm looking at a list of 40 people to give some kind of gift, or at least a special card, this Xmas. The thing I feel worst about, is that I ALWAYS get more than I give. I hate how hectic the season is, and buying crap just for the sake of giving a gift, but in the end I wouldn't change a thing!
