Does the ADA symbol mean anything?

i was looking at some listerine mouthwash at jewel today and noticed the new "citrus" flavor tdidn't have the ada seal while the other kinds of listerine did. i heard that without the seal, you might as well rinse your mouth with juice

Isn't the ADA the American Dental Association....guess it wasn't approved by them.
