does the 7800GT 1.5V BIOS mod raise VDIMM also?!

Greetings,

After reading the o/c results of users that have upped their voltage to 1.5... it seems that ALL of them are reporting high clocks on Core and Memory. I was just wondering if somehow the bump from 1.4V to 1.5V, increases more than VCORE, and possibly VDIMM also...?!

-Thanks

It doesn't necisarrily raise vdimm. This is very similar to raising the vcore on an ATI card. I know vmodding a X800XT allows you to clock the memory highier by just giving the core a bit more voltage as well.

no, it definitely will not raise vdimm

that is a separate mod that can be done by solder/VR or by "pencil trick"

bios mod got me from 513/1230 to 550/1230
additional vRAM pencil mod went from 550/1230 to 550/1389

memory did not (and should not) raise one single mhz as a result of bios vCore mod

Can I get a link to these BIOS mods? I'm assuming these void the warranty?
