Does the 3000 Winchester only come as a 939?

The Winchester cores are only on S939 for desktop Athlon 64's, but if you want a S754 Winnie, you can try to find a Mobile Athlon 64, or you can get one of the new Semprons that just came out. I don't know if the Mobile A64 Winnies are available on the retail market, but I have a Mobile A64 2800+ Winchester in my notebook.
