Well, you know they have the infomercials running late at night just about every weekend. The ZMax stuff that is supposed to clean up a shtz load of carbon build up and get your engine to run longer...yadda...yadda....they show an actual video of going into an engine before and after and it looks a lot more cleaner.........shiny too.........but then my 96 camry only has about 41000 miles on it.....

Does it go in your oil, or your gas?

Do not use oil additives. All major oil companies have tested them, and they are all worthless. Think about it - an oil company spends perhaps hundreds of thousands of dollars on research for their oil. The additive package they decide to use is going to be best. When you add some oil additive to your oil, you don't know what you're adding.. and you're most likely going to upset whatever balance there was in the oil in the first place.. Some products even advise you to "shake well before using"! :Q

If it goes into your gas, it most likely isn't going to hurt anything... But it isn't going to be some mircacle worker.. lol

Chevron's Techron works....its in their gas.

It either works or its just the placebo effect. Not sure which though.
