Does that "Riddex" thing work?

Riddex sounds too good to be true.

For those of you who don't know, it basically kills roaches, mice, and other pests (pigeons, anyone?) using the electrical wiring of the infected place. You just plug a device into an electrical outlet and it sends an electrical signal that get's rid of the pest.

Anyone uses it?

I've seen people use it. I know one of their outside walls was covered in bugs. Not sure about the inside.

its not an electrical signal so much as really high Hz tone. so its not using the system as a giant bug zapper...it just such an annoying sound the critters flee (not kill them). And anyways it doesn't work on insects as they don't really have ears. Just mice (eh-kinda) and other creatures with good hearing (so no pigeons). Speaking from my own experience.

I'm starting to see ants in this old house I'm living in. I don't think Riddex would work on that.

Ah well. I'm only here for like three more days.

Haha, it's not me that's causing it. This place is incredibly old and falling apart. The kitchen is clean (as can be anyways), but I still see huge ants walking around. Friday morning, I'm outta here!
