Does Solid Snake have a mullet?

I was reading up on the new Metal Gear for PS2, and although it looks like one of the greatest games ever, I think Solid has a mullet.

Did he have the same do in the first one? I can't remember.

He does have a mullet. I read an article in EGM where the guy who does the voice of Solid Snake admitted it was a mullet. They also interviewed the artist who said he wanted Solid to have a different, rebellious kinda haircut, I don't think the Japanese know that a mullet is to cover up a red neck
