OK this should be a simple answer for many . . . I am building a fast machine that will be used as a DAW ( music recording) - lot's of power hungry plugins . . but I am setting this up with 4 monitors - and do it inexpensively . . . I had compatibility issues with many sets of newer graphics card and finally got a pair of Nvidia pci card that worked well with my last build - I am planning to use the same card on the new one . . . I know it won't play games or anything and I don't care for that . . .
Will these slow dual moniter pci cards in anyway slow down the processing power of my i7 machine when I am doing cpu intesive work with the DAW???
Thanks
