I am not sure if this belongs in forum issues and if so feel free to move it...

But...

I have been of the opinion that search is broke. Yes, with some fiddling and playing around you can find what you are looking for in most cases. I was trying to find a thread last week started a few days before. It took me 3 or 4 times to get the right thread. The point is it shouldn't take 10 minutes to find a thread a few days old. Something is up.

Then look at reposts. This is anandtech, there is quite a lot of stuff that gets posted every few months or so. Why is it impossible to find it with search.
Either-
Search is broke,
Search is fine and noobs dont know what they are doing,
or
Search needs some work.

Well, ATOT, what is your opinion.
 
Regular search works... more or less.

Advanced search does not.


But hey, give them a break - it's only been what, a year or more since it started to suck? 😉
