Does search work for anyone?

I get almost all null results.

Search for Asrock on the motherboard forum. Get a couple of results not including the 1000+ post one on the Asrock 775Dual-VSTA.

Go into some thread. Highlight some text and copy. Go to the search box at the top labeled search this post. Paste the text and search. I never get any result.

No.
I'd tell you to use the search function before posting, but... 🙂

It's been broken for some time, and basically there's no one to fix it.
If you wanna search the forums, Google is your best bet.
The mods really should make a sticky for this.

Works sometimes, but totally crap most of the time. I only search by Member 90% of the time and that works fine, but the 10% I want to find something other than that, it might work.

Doing a simple search for Asrock in the Motherboards Forum should get about 35 results.
Doing an advanced search for Asrock in the Motherboards Forum, current messages, Title and summary (you MUST choose Title and summary - the other two DON'T work), should get the same 30 something messages. Remember to check the "Order search results by date" box.

It's not perfect (that's for sure), but it's all we've got outside of Google.

Google: keyword site:forums.anandtech.com

Here's one of the threads where it has been discussed that includes admin response.
The search engine is terrible
