Does screen capture software capture dead pixels on laptops?

My laptop doesn't have any dead pixels but I'm wondering if it did, would you see the dead pixels if you screen capture it?

If your screen has dead pixels could you show a screenshot of it?

Thanks.

absolutely. there's nothing magical about a screnshot. a picture
of your screen as shown is taken. you might be able to paint over
any dead pixelage wit psp, illustrator, pixia, or possibly mspaint.

No, screen capture software would not capture dead pixels. Screen capture software captures the image that is stored in video card memory.
