Does Samsung use V-NAND in their USB drives? (micro)SD cards?

Just curious. I just ordered a few "Bar Plus" metal USB 3.1 drives.

They do for their EVO Plus microSD cards and according to one source their Pro Plus microSD cards too.
Haven't heard about them using it in USB drives however.
You could try looking for the V-NAND stamp that the SSDs and EVO Plus microSD cards both have on their packaging, otherwise they might still be using 2D NAND.

Same here.

That's a great idea. I'll let you know when they arrive, if there's any mention of "V-NAND" on the packaging.

Well, I think Samsung said that they were going to use that stamp to advertise that they were using 3D NAND in those products (or perhaps it was limited to one product category, not entirely sure).

Thought that the USB 3.1 may mean that it was a new version and if so more likely to be using 3D NAND than an older version.
Would still appreciate if you checked if it has a V-NAND stamp on the packaging though.
