I've never tried the American version, but we sell the original Thai version (comes in a little tonic bottle), and it definitely does 'work'.

I like Red Bull, but I prefer AMP when it comes to canned.

Bawls works the best for me though.

<< It's the best for mixing with vodka.

That should be the only way it's used.
>>

exactly... this drink belongs in a bar... its actual use is just a coverup.

I have to butt in and ask, what DOES work for energy and keeping awake? I have vivarin, and Surge worked, but I can't find it anywhere :( Have my physics 2 final tomorrow and I need to STUDY.

And sigh, I'll probably go out and get "homework munchies"... how I gained weight in HS :(

Red Bull is not Thai? I ought to know, we've been selling it for years before it even hit the American market.

BBC Red Bull Success

<< He adapted it from a cheap tonic called Krating Daeng (Thai for Red Bull) that he discovered in the early 1980s in a brown bottle in Bangkok, a favourite tipple among blue-collar workers in the Thai capital, trying to stay awake through the long hours of labour. >>

The Kratin Daeng is the original Thai one that we sell... it has the exact same logo as Red Bull. If i had a camera, i would take a pic for you. Comes in a brown tonic bottle and only contains 150ml (5oz)... says Product of Thailand, and has Thai words all over it. We've been selling this stuff for years before it hit the American market, and even though you can buy the western version of it, we have Thai kickboxing studios still coming from out of town to buy the original. We even have regular white people buying this stuff once they try the difference between the original and the western version. I don't know if it's psychological (maybe because of the bottle), since i haven't tried the canned version yet, but this stuff literally flies off our shelf. If you live within my area, come on in to our store, Ming's Asian Foods (in Cambridge, Ontario), and buy one to try.

Forever, try taking some of those thermogenic supplements (the diet pills that increase your metabolism to lose weight)... do a google search of thermogenic for some ideas, or go to your local pharmacy or nutritional store and ask for help. Not only will it keep you awake, but it'll help you increase your metabolism, and possibly lose some weight.
