Does PS2 composite video cable work with PS3?

Not sure where the cable that came with my PS3 is, because I never used it. I'm temporarily without an HDTV, so my HDMI cable is useless to me right now. My PS3 is configured to use HDMI for video and audio. Is there a way to force it to use composite? Some way to set it to factory default settings or something?

Or could someone give me the button sequence that I'd have to press after booting to set it to composite?

Hold down the power button for like 5 seconds till you hear a beep. That resets it to output at 480i

All of the PS2 video cables work with the PS3. I got very good use out of my component cables for a while.

QFT

I appreciated that they didn't needlessly change connectors.
