What kind of upgrade did you have in mind, what's your goal? If you're looking to do some gaming with it, just sell the whole thing and build a new one. If you want better application performance when doing actual office-type work, then a fast 7200rpm hard drive with a Ultra100 card (and a reinstallation of Windows) will help light a fire under it compared to the slowpoke 5400rpm drive and the Ultra33 controller on the motherboard. 256Mb of RAM would help, too. And you can probably scrounge a P2 450 from the For Sale/Trade forum too 🙂 Hope that helps!
PS: the power supply fan may be an Achilles' Heel for it... I've had a couple start buzzing as the sleeve bearing wore out.
